Electronic Arts has announced today that they are continuing their EA Play event for E3 for 2018. The publisher will be hosting another off-site event at the Hollywood Palladium from June 9th through the 11th. At this event, attendees will be able to go hands-on with Battlefield 2018 and will get an inside look at Bioware’s Anthem. Little is known about the Battlefield game that’s releasing in 2018, but having this available for hands-on gameplay is certainly telling that we’re about to hear a lot more about the shooter....

The CEO of EA, Andrew Wilson, has labeled the troubled launch of Battlefield 4 as “unacceptable”. While speaking to Eurogamer about the many bugs and glitches that plagued the game for the first few months of its release he said “[f]or me, the situation we had was unacceptable. For the team it was unacceptable.” He also feels that the game is in much better shape now than it was at launch....
