Bleach: Immortal Soul has been announced by Oasis Games today as a new mobile RPG for Android and iOS.

The game will be officially licensed by TV Tokyo and developed by GREE, and will launch in spring 2020.

Bleach: Immortal Soul will bring the Bleach franchise back to life after the end of the anime over eight years ago, and will follow Ichigo’s adventures as he embraces a new life as a Shinigami Daikou (Substitute Soul Reaper).

It is yet not clear how far in terms of the story the title will go, but from what Oasis Games revealed, it will surely cover the anime’s first season, and perhaps the second.

The title will see players go through several animated chapters and cut-scenes, building their team, and facing epic battles featuring spectacular Bankai releases and full-screen effects. Of course, all the characters will have the original voices from the Japanese actors.

As far as the fight system is concerned, Oasis Games teased that, while stats and equipment will be important to win battles, gamers will have to pay extra attention to team composition, the order of attack, and the accuracy of landing combos if they want to prevail in a fight.

Oasis Games was founded in Hong Kong in 2011 and is now a top global interactive entertainment publisher. The game studio is known for titles such as One-Punch Man: Road to Hero, Legend Online, Naruto Online, Final Fantasy Awakening, Mountains and Seas, and many others.

After so many years since the anime’s end, it surely feels nostalgic to meet Ichigo and his friends again. Are you excited about Bleach: Immortal Soul? Are you going to play it? If the answer to these questions is yes, you can already go ahead and pre-order the game via the Play Store and App Store.
