Inti Creates new game is available in the eShop right now.

Seemingly out of nowhere, Inti Creates new game, Blaster Master Zero 2 was announced and is launching for the Nintendo Switch. Even more surprising is that it’s available right now! That’s right, you can go and download it at the Nintendo eShop store and start playing it today. Revealed during the Nindies showcase, the game is a full fledged sequel to Blaster Master Zero, which itself is a remake of the original NES game Blaster Master. Blaster Master Zero 2 appears to retain the 2D side-scrolling aesthetics, with some nice new textures for today’s standards.

The trailer shows the series hero Jason fighting off enemies in and out of his trademark vehicle, the Gaia-Sophia. The vehicle also has new sub-weapons that can be utilized to make levels easier. Even more intriguing is that it also launches into space where Jason is able to explores other planets. Despite how its old school appearance, the combat looks absolutely stunning with flashy explosions and insanely large boss battles. Either way, we’re very excited and surprised to be able to play this game right now.

Blaster Master Zero 2 is available right now for the Nintendo Switch through the Nintendo eShop for $9.99. You can check out the launch trailer here:
