Sinners, the time to repent is now because time is running out. Blasphemous, an action-platformer from the development team behind The Last Door, is coming to console and PC this September.

Blasphemous is a dark and gruesome 2D platformer from the recesses of your deepest nightmares:

As described by The Game Kitchen, Blasphemous is an action-platformer with hack-and-slash elements which revolves around a non-linear storyline. As the game progresses, enemies and bosses will become bigger, meaner, and scarier than ever. But don’t get so caught up in the battles that you don’t take the time to explore because you will be highly rewarded.

This beautifully grotesque platformer started as a Kickstarter campaign which achieved massive success. Their original goal of $50,000 was quickly met by over 9,000 backers, and the campaign earned over $300,000 for the game’s development. Needless to say, fans are more than excited to finally have an official release date for this new title.

Blasphemous is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC September 10, 2019, for $24.99. You can follow their last steps of development on their Twitter page or join in the discussion on their Discord. Or, keep coming back to The Nerd Stash for all of your nerdy news and needs where we will continue to follow this gory delight of a game.
