Ellis and Bullet are in it deep by this point in the Blair Witch. They’ve had a few run-ins with some pale, translucent monsters, and Ellis is starting to question reality. He has further questions after he attempts to meet up with his friend, but the two are unable to do so. Shortly after, Ellis finds the sheriff’s police car of his friend. But the sheriff of police is nowhere to be found. Ellis has to change the fuses of the car to get the front lights to work. Here’s how you do it.

The Fuse Puzzle in Blair Witch

Getting the Puzzle Started

You need to gain access to the car first. When you attempt to open the driver’s side door, you’re going to find it locked. Walk around the vehicle for a moment, and wait to hear Bullet’s barking. Go to him, or find him near you, and he should have the keys to the car. You may want to give him a pet for finding the keys, too.

Now, you can use those to open the door. When you get inside you’re going to try and start the car, but you’re going to find that the battery is dead. Look down at the driver’s side and open the front latch, letting you open the hood. Before you leave the car to open the hood, though, turn to your left to grab the Fuse Panel sheet and the police report in the passenger’s side seat. You’re going to need both of those. The former is for the puzzle, while the latter is for important game stuff later for you to have later on.

Get out of the driver’s side and proceed to the front to open the hood. Ellis is going to push it up and reconnect the vehicle’s battery. You can now proceed to the fuse puzzle, which you need to return to the driver’s side seat to do so. When you get there, a fuse panel should open up on your bottom left. Pull it up, and you should have ten fuse panels with the Fuse Panel sheet to your right.

Turning the Front Lights On

Before you start looking at the left side at the fuse panel, you want to refer to the Fuse Panel sheet on your right. Your goal, right now, is to turn the front lights on. You only want to focus and have positive fuses for the seventh and ninth panels. You need those to have positive ones, and you need them to be above the required amount of 20.

Referring back to the fuse panel, you can see that the seventh panel has a dead fuse, while the ninth has a positive one. Plus, it’s a 20 already in it, so you don’t need to do anything to it. Move down to the seventh panel, and pluck out the dead one. Of the fuses available, the sixth panel is the only with a positive 20 fuse in it. Remove the fuse from that panel, and place it over to the seventh slot.

When you do this, Ellis should tell you it’s good, and you can now turn on the front lights of the vehicle to continue Blair Witch.
