After more than one issue along the way, the fate of Wakanda has finally been sealed. Almost two years ago, Chadwick Boseman passed. Now, it seems one of the legacies he left behind has found its footing. At the time of his passing, Chadwick Boseman and T’Challa were still very involved in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We even saw his final role in What If long after his time. His legacy has not been forgotten by Marvel Studios. It seems that his fictional world of Wakanda will be all right as well. It was announced that today is the day the movie crew wraps filming on Black Panther Wakanda Forever.

An Incredible Legacy for the Black Panther

Chadwick Boseman helped create an incredible world with his portrayal of T’Challa, King of Wakanda. Thanks to this, the hero has gained more popularity than ever before. But with Boseman’s passing, the unfinished story of T’Challa is left hanging. T’Challa had just come into himself as king in the first movie, so it is a shame to see. As a main Avenger after the Infinity Saga, a large gap has been left. Many MCU fans have been wondering where that will go from here.

Though no plot details have been revealed yet, Black Panther Wakanda Forever may become a movie revolving around Shuri instead. She is the kid sister of T’Challa, and, therefore next in line for the throne. There is even a comic storyline where Shuri steps into the spotlight herself as the next Black Panther. The movie had some major delays due to an injury Letitia Wright sustained on set. If her destiny as Black Panther is at play, this explains why things got so held up. As Black Panther Wakanda Forever wraps filming, we can only wait for more news. Knowing Marvel Studios, Wakanda is in good hands.
