Madame Tussaud’s New York wax museum has finally unveiled Black Panther to Marvel’s Hall of Heroes. The masked hero appears in photos over the NYC skyline. This follows up their initial announcement to the incoming hero on August 20.
Marvel, who made the announcement, had the help of special effects and costume providers FBFX to create Black Panther’s apparel. Taking inspiration from one of the poster images designed for 2018’s Black Panther, the museum wanted to echo the picture of T’Challa surveying his kingdom. Brain Crosby, Creative Director for Marvel Themed Entertainment went on to say,
Adding to the experience is the “vibranium effect” in Black Panther’s suit. The technologically advanced suit lights up in a purple glow and vibrates during the sculpture’s interactions with guests. Black Panther will be joining Marvel’s Hall of Heroes alongside Captain America, Thor, Nick Fury, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel.

The Future of Black Panther and Wakanda
Other news regarding Black Panther includes Black Panther: Wakanda Forever introducing a new hero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe [spoiler warning]. This incoming character was confirmed by Kevin Feige.
At the same time, Marvel’s What If? series on Disney+ explored the idea of T’Challa becoming Star-Lord and Peter Quill staying on Earth. Though this mixup by the Ravengers plays a big role in the development of Wakanda and T’Challa. However, in playing out this timeline, Marvel has predicted Black Panther 2’s conflict. As of now, other plot points for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever are unknown.
