Call of Duty: Black Ops continues to dominate gamer’s time on Xbox Live.  This week’s activity list show Treyarch’s game as the number one played game on the online service.  This should come as no surprise as it’s been dominating this area for quite some time.  New comers to the gaming landscape Crysis 2 & Homefront failed to make the top ten most played titles.

You’d think that with 2011 being a year full of great games thus far, one of these would stick to gamers and jump into the top ten titles. Everything that is in the top ten was released last year.  Plus 4/10 have the name Call of Duty attached to it.  Is it no wonder that Microsoft paid for exclusive rights to the COD DLC.  Xbox Live users can’t get enough of the game, in all its forms.  Black Ops doesn’t appear to be going anywhere either. A new map pack is on the way (more details here), and will likely bring even more players back into the game once it’s released on May 3rd.
