The folks over at Treyarch are pushing their first major update for the Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s Blackout beta a day after it went live.

The new update bumps the amount of players that can enter a match from 80 to 88, which is still less short of your typical 100 player matches that you see in games like Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. But a little less short.

A new featured mode will allow players to link up as duos has been added to give CoD fans a chance to dive into matches with their bust buddy.

Alongside the new additions, Treyarch are also adding new changes to Blackout mode. Tweaks, mostly. It is a lot faster to pick up items now, for example.

This will be the first of many changes to the game, with Treyarch promising to make daily updates throughout the beta.  The beta ends Sept. 17.
