Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 won’t feature standalone additional content packs anymore, as all the post-release stuff will be featured in a single, season pass and won’t be split into different packages you can buy based on your interest in regards to them.

The season pass will give you access to a lot of stuff, though, such as 12 new maps, five new zombie experiences and four exclusive characters for the battle royale mode called Blackout, which we still wait to be revealed.

“In addition to the release of Multiplayer maps, Zombies experiences, and Blackout content, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 players can also expect in-game content and themed events, creating a robust content season.”

This might be a bit disappointing if you consider that there were rumors around that the season pass could’ve been ditched and all the additional stuff could’ve been released totally for free, as a compensation for the lack of a single-player campaign.

You can have the season pass itself by purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition, the Digital Deluxe Enhanced Edition, or the Pro Edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which is releasing this October for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
