God of War: Ragnarok has a new glitch that gives Freya wings, and more importantly giving her a pretty weird look. The ninth installment in the series, the ninth chronologically, and the sequel to 2018’s God of War was released last month and seems to have received pretty cool reviews from the gaming committee. However, as in every new game, Kratos’ latest offer also has some bugs and glitches, at least not technical issues. As mentioned up there, the latest one is quite awkward and makes Freya look winged during the cutscene in the Valkyrie Queen Gna boss fight.
New God of War: Ragnarok Bug Shows Freya With Wings
Freya also known as Nað, is the Vanir Goddess of Love, Beauty, War, Death, Magic, Childhood, and Fertility. She is the daughter of Njörd and Nerthus, the sister of Freyr, and the ex-wife of Odin with whom she procreated Baldur, making her the grandmother of Forseti as well. She’s pretty important to the God of War universe, as seen. However probably players didn’t know that she had Valkyrie form, at least until the last glitch.
Reddit user named False_Willingness_82 posted a video on the God of War Ragnarok subreddit showing the surprising and weird glitch. This video shows the latest moment of Gna’s boss fight when Kratos defeats her and brings the cutscene. Normally this scene shows Freya without wings, but this weird glitch gives Freya a winged appearance and this cutscene goes on for two minutes. Even weirder, Freya’s Valkyrie wings are still there after the scene ends.
It is pretty normal for a newly released game to have bugs and glitches. Developers eliminate all this with updates that come over time. However, as mentioned above, these do not harm gameplay in God of War: Ragnarok. These issues are expected to be resolved in the upcoming patches.
