Have you ever joined a mafia family in BitLife? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work against the family instead? As an informant, you’ll gather evidence against the mafia, eventually walking away as a free person. While this does have its benefits, there are plenty of downsides to it as well. This guide will explain how to become an informant against the mafia in BitLife.

How to Become an Informant in BitLife

To become an informant in BitLife, you must first join the mafia. As weird as it sounds, you’ll have to commit crimes initially and have a mafia family recruit you before ultimately turning against them.

To begin, create a new character in the country of your choice. Even though you are not required to have any special talents to join the family, having a crime-related talent will also help you be more successful when committing crimes. You’ll know you have a crime talent if a gun is beside your character’s name on the main screen.

As your character ages, commit petty crimes to gain a reputation within the organized crime syndicates. You will not gain entry into any mafia families without committing crimes. Some crimes you can start with at a young age include burglary, shoplifting and porch pirating. If you want to increase your chances further, you can rob a bank or even murder once your character turns 18. After committing plenty of crimes, go to Special Careers into Organized Crime and attempt to join a mafia family. If you fail, continue committing more crimes for a few years. Otherwise, welcome to the dark side!

Once you’ve successfully entered a mafia family, choose to become an informant. You’ll be assigned to gain evidence against the mafia family within the deadline. Your deadline is typically three to four years. To collect evidence, go to your fellow mafia members and Snitch on them. While your evidence bar will not rise very quickly, it’ll slowly increase the more you Snitch on them. Be careful not to get caught, though, since the mafia family will likely kill you for snitching! Having high relationships will everyone will slightly decrease the likelihood of this happening.

After you’ve gathered enough information to max out your evidence bar, you’ll bring the family to justice and have all charges dropped against you. Afterwards, you’ll enter the Witness Protection Program and live a free life to do whatever you wish.

Once you become an informant, you’ll complete one of the tasks for the Hunky Honeypot Challenge in BitLife. For more information about a previous BitLife challenge, visit our coverage here.
