It’s been almost two years since Bachelor in Paradise star Evan Bass split from Carly Waddell, but he is just beginning to open up about it. Evan and Carly wowed fans during the BiP‘s third season. The then-lovebirds returned to the show for its fourth season in 2017 and said their vows. In 2018, the couple welcomed their first child and daughter, Isabella. They added to their brood in 2019 when their son Charles “Charlie” Wolf was born.

Just when fans thought it couldn’t get better for Evan and Carly, they called it quits in December 2020. The reality television stars announced their split via a joint statement.

Evan Discusses Split From Carly Waddell

Evan appeared on the Talking It Out podcast on Thursday, June 23rd, and opened up about his split from Carly Waddell for the first time. During the appearance, he admitted that he and his ex-wife did not set the foundation in the way they should have.

The Bachelorette alum revealed why he is just opening up about the split from Carly, which is his second divorce, saying:

Before marrying Carly, Evan was married to Marie Bass, with whom he shares three sons, Nathan, Liam, and Ensley. Although there are questions about him marrying for a third time, the television personality is not thinking that way. He joked,

Evan also noted that his previous marriages were fairly quick in their turnaround time. He recalled marrying Marie after three and a half months and Carly a year after their engagement.

It is good that Bachelor in Paradise star Evan Bass is gradually healing from his divorce and opening up about his split from Carly Waddell. One can only wonder how long or if he will ever get married.
