If you remember, BioWare’s game DLCs were only purchasable with BioWare points. Getting those DLCs with real direct money was impossible, and the store forced us to bring digital BioWare Points. That ridiculous currency is gone, and now all those Origin DLCs available with BioWare Points are free.
The available free DLCs are for Mass Effect and Dragon Age series. The chance is available for older series games, but you won’t lose anything by getting them. They’re available on Origin, and that’s a golden chance if you’ve had these games before.
BioWare Point DLCs Are Free on Origin Now
A Reddit user shared the e-mail he received, and the e-mail was announcing that the BioWare Points are no longer available on Origin. Then people noticed that the DLCs selling by BioWare Points is free to add library. You can get those free DLCs, and you can keep them forever. Those DLCs are available for these games:
- Dragon Age II
- Dragon Age: Origins
- Mass Effect 2
- Mass Effect 3
The only expectation is for Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer packs. They’re not available as accessible at the moment but enjoy the others. Also, whoever bought these DLCs before is still can play them. You can head up to your Origin account and access them like always.
BioWare Point was an old trend on the internet. If you remember, nearly every game studio focused on developing its currency. The trend continues with coins like Razer Gold and Xbox Live Gold. But the things you can buy with these currencies are also available with real money. The studios’ coins are harmless, but I want to see actual money items too.
