Anthem is one of the most anticipated games around and this year it’ll be a proper showcase at E3 2018, more specifically at EA Play, which happens to be going live on June 9.

During a conversation on Reddit creative director Brennon Holmes discussed the Anthem and the state of the preparation for this important appointment, that most probably will shape people expectations up in the wait for the early 2019 release.

“Everyone is currently working pretty hard! We’re doing a lot of iterating and polish on the content that will be the focus for EA Play / E3,“Holmes said, describing how’s BioWare doing these days.

Giving more context to the presentation, Holmes added that “The things we’re showing have to get done at some point, but if we weren’t showing it at E3 we’d likely be doing it in a slightly different order.”

So there’s at least apparently the possibility that the stuff we’re going to see is coming from a later stage in the game, and that the developer had to start working on that portion just to have it ready in time for E3 2018.

Anyway, Anthem is going to be at EA Play so we’ll learn in a really short time what that really means and most importantly whether BioWare will manage to get back up after the (for many) disappointing Mass Effect Andromeda.
