Nowadays, every franchise, brand, and icon tends to have a holiday. Mass Effect isn’t an exception. November 7, also known as N7 Day for Mass Effect fans, is big. Due to the N7 being an iconic number in the franchise, it was said that November 7 would be a day to celebrate Mass Effect. While this franchise hasn’t made any big ripples as of late, today might be the day we’ll have something to discuss. With the Mass Effect N7 day here, BioWare has released small footage for what might be their new Mass Effect game. It is short, yes, but we’re already full of questions and very few answers.

We all know that if there is one beloved sci-fi gaming franchise out there is Mass Effect, to the point that the original trilogy got remastered. The most significant changes were for the first title, though, with a revamped combat and just a lot of quality-of-life changes. However, news about a new Mass Effect game came all the way back in 2020. While we haven’t gotten any big news, this small teaser points out that they are definitely working on it.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition Review – Calibrated to Near Perfection
Some people are still a bit nervous, given how BioWare has treated their latest games. We all saw what happened with Anthem, Mass Effect Andromeda, and the Star Wars MMO; while it has a new expansion, it isn’t on par with WoW or FFXIV. Yet, as fans during Mass Effect N7 day, watching this teaser makes us all feel hopeful. We genuinely hope that the new Mass Effect game isn’t too far away and that we get some news soon.
