THQ Nordic and Experiment 101 have finally announced the Biomutant release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. According to THQ Nordic, the next-gen console version of the game will launch on September 6th on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. PS4 and Xbox One Users Will Get Next-Gen Biomutant for Free

According to THQ Nordic and Experiment 101’s statement, the developer will also implement some upgrades for the next-gen of Biomutant. The Xbox and PlayStation updated versions have improvements, including faster load times, 4K and HDR support, and 60 fps options. Players may select which settings to prefer with three distinct graphics modes (Quality, Quality Unleashed, and Performance).

Quality locks Biomutant at 30 fps at 4K resolution while Performance locks graphics at 60 fps at 1440p on both PS5 and Xbox Series X. Also, Quality Unleashed fills in the gaps with an average frame rate of 50–60 fps and up to 4K resolution. The Xbox Series S version supports 1080p in Performance mode; however, you can play at 1440p resolution for Quality and Quality Unleashed. Here is the list of options we’ve written:

  • Quality: 4K resolution with 30 fps (PS5 and Xbox Series X) / 1440p resolution with 30 fps (Xbox Series S)
  • Quality Unleashed: 40+ fps, averaging 50-60 fps, up to 4K resolution (PS5 and Xbox Series X) / 40+ fps, averaging 50-60 fps, up to 1440p (Xbox Series S)
  • Performance: 1440p resolution with 60 fps locked (PS5 and Xbox Series X) / 1440p resolution with 60 fps locked (Xbox Series S)

PS5 players should expect to enjoy DualSense features, including haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support. The PlayStation version also has motion control and speaker sound as well.
