There has been much news this week of a Billie Eilish breakup. But it can be hard to confirm a breakup when the relationship is never actually confirmed itself. But Eilish’s former flame Matthew Tyler Vorce has spoken up, trying to dismantle the rumors, and has only fed the fire. Because in stepping out and saying the breakup isn’t real, he accidentally confirmed the relationship, indeed, was or is a ‘thing.’ Truth is, the two have been in a committed relationship for over a year now. They just did a solid job of keeping that mostly hidden from view. Until now.

For those who don’t know about the Billie Eilish (sort of) breakup, we have the details. Matthew Tyler Vorce is an actor who can be seen right now in the creepy A24 movie Men. The rumored reason for the breakup is infidelity on Vorce’s part. Something he took to Instagram to try to quell. He quickly pointed out that not every failed relationship needs to have a shady reasoning behind it. Is he being truthful? No one is quite sure.

The problem is, in claiming he didn’t cheat on the songstress, he also validated they were, in fact, dating. There was much online speculation since the two were first seen together in April 2021, looking very happy. But most of the public has been wholly out of the loop about the star’s relationship. That is, until Vorce decided to defend himself and outed them both as former twin flames.

Drifting Apart

The fact is, we can understand why the singer would long to keep her private life private. Just because someone is a celebrity does not mean that they owe us anything other than the art they provide. And though this chapter may be coming to a close for both of them, they are young and successful and hot.

In other words, they will be fine.
