Disney Infinity 2.0 is still a few weeks away but it seems they just keep showing off more content and characters. The latest features the stars of the upcoming Big Hero 6 movie.
Earlier today Disney revealed a new Disney Infinity 2.0 starter pack, dubbed the Toy Box Starter Pack, which includes Merida from Brave and Stitch from Lilo & Stitch. The unique aspect is that it does not come with a play set. It only comes with the game, the base and the figures. It is a bare bones starter kit and will retail for $59.99 this November.
The interesting part though is the box art, you’ll notice that it highlights the Disney Originals line of figures. The main characters are centered with Donald and Maleficent to the left and to the right above you’ll see Aladdin riding on his carpet and above them Baymax and Hiro from the upcoming Disney Pixar movie Big Hero 6. The Big Hero 6 lineup hasn’t been announced yet but it is indeed coming according to fan-site Infinity Inquirer whom managed to get the first shots of the upcoming Baymax and Hiro figures.
Given that the movie is set to release on November 7th, I wouldn’t be surprised if this Toy Box Starter Kit isn’t launching around the same time with Baymax & Hiro as well.
Disney Infinity 2.0 is set to release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC and iOS on September 23rd.
