Big Brother 24 contestant Michael Bruner has officially spoken out about the recent drama surrounding rumors of jury tampering in favor of fellow contestant Taylor Hale, who came out on top in the show’s 24th season. Michael, who has always been an outspoken ally of Hale, recently refuted claims that the show’s jury had been influenced by “outside forces,” as some others have claimed.

Taylor Hale was proclaimed the winner of Big Brother 24 following the show’s season finale on September 24th, 2022. Ever since, rumors have flown that the jury that crowned her was rigged, tampered with, or influenced in some way – Terrence Higgins, a fellow Big Brother contestant, used his exit interview to imply that he was “convinced” by outside forced to help Taylor win after Higgins himself was voted off the show in a double eviction event during week 9.

Higgins’ claims of jury-tampering wouldn’t have come as a surprise to some Big Brother fans, especially after season 24 has been rampant with drama after Kyle Capener was voted off the show in a 5-0 vote after Michael and Brittany Hoopes revealed the influencer’s racist actions a few weeks prior, according to EW.

Between the massive upset with Kyle – or “KKKyle,” as the internet has dubbed him – Michael receiving threats that Higgins would sway the jury against him if he were voted off. Now the drama with Taylor Hale, Michael Bruner has certainly been an active contestant in this season of Big Brother, with him even winning the most vetoes with six in a single season, breaking Janelle Pierzina’s sixteen-year-record of five vetoes.

Michael Bruner Vocally Supports Taylor Hale’s ‘Big Brother’ Win

Michael Bruner recently sat down with Taran Armstrong on Rob Has a Podcast, answering questions about his involvement in Big Brother 24 and steadfastly denying any rumors that the jury was tampered with in favor of Taylor Hale, according to ScreenRant.

“I’ve seen some people talking online that the jury was persuaded to vote for Taylor,” Michael said. “Absolutely not… Going in, everyone respected Taylor, and she had fantastic jury management.”

“I think some people are bitter and don’t want to give credit where credit is due,” he added, throwing some not-too-subtle shade at Terrence, who, by his own admission, didn’t get along with Taylor while they were in the house together. Michael, who held a seat in the Big Brother 24 jury house and is a “self-proclaimed super fan of Big Brother,” according to ScreenRant, continues to stand behind his vote for Taylor, stating that he thought “she played the best game.”

CBS and the hosts of Big Brother 24 haven’t put forth any official word on whether or not the rumors of jury tampering hold any water, leaving it up to fans of the show and the contestants themselves to decide – was the Big Brother 24 jury influenced in some way? Did Taylor Hale win the grand prize fairly?
