We already know The Last of Us Remastered is getting the visual upgrade to the PS4 console. It seems like another PS3 game from 2013 is getting the same treatment as Beyond: Two Souls could be releasing on PS4 too.

Several European retailers have started listing Beyond: Two Souls as being available for the PS4 sometime in September. Other listings have popped out, but only with a vague 2014 release. Nevertheless, it looks like Sony is wanting to capitalize on new PS4 owners by re-releasing games they may have not have played on PS3. Sony did boast a few days ago that many PS4 owners did not own a PS3. They even said a proportion of PS4 gamers have not even played The Last of Us.

If Beyond: Two Souls is indeed releasing on PS4, it joins The Last of Us Remastered and even Grand Theft Auto V as getting remade for the new console. Neither Sony or Quantic Dream have yet to confirm this yet though.

Beyond: Two Souls is an interesting choice to get the PS4 treatment. Unlike with The Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V, the game had mixed reviews when it was released in October 2013. Will the PS4 re-release manage to persuade more people to play the game?
