As a television show, Better Call Saul is a rare thing, a spin-off that’s every bit as good, if not better than the main show. Add in the fact that the main show is Breaking Bad, and you could say we have a one of a kind. More news has been available for Better Call Saul Season 6.
Ever since season 5 ended, fans have been dying for season 6, or at least for some more news. Back in August, co-creator Peter Gould confirmed that production for the 6th, and final season, of Better Call Saul was unlikely to continue this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
It was sad news, but now, thanks to the Breaking Bad universe’s best villain, we may have some more positive news for the new season.
Gus Fring himself, Giancarlo Esposito, had a chat with HeyUGuys, where he confirmed that season 6 of Better Call Saul should start shooting in March. Obviously, at this stage, it’s not a definite thing as shooting schedules could still change due to the pandemic, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
You can watch the whole thing for yourselves here, but Mr. Esposito had this to say:
Season 6 should see quite a lot of Gus as he continues his war with Lalo Salamanca, especially after the explosive end to season 5.
