Bethesda finally reveals the news that everyone’s been waiting for.

Todd Howard took the stage at Bethesda’s E3 2018 Press Conference to close out the show and reveal everything that Bethesda Game Studios is working on.  The very last reveal of the night happened to be the news that everyone was waiting on, and that’s the confirmation that The Elder Scrolls VI is in development at the studio.

BGS is working on a lot right now.  Fallout 76, a new IP in Starfield, and The Elder Scrolls VI.  Howard made it pretty clear that The Elder Scrolls VI is the game after the game after, so it might not come for some time as it sounds like they’ll be releasing in this order:  Fallout 76, Starfield, and then The Elder Scrolls VI.

With so much time to go before release, it’s looking incredibly likely that The Elder Scrolls VI will arrive when new consoles do.

No release window, gameplay, features, or setting was revealed for The Elder Scrolls VI, merely a short video with The Elder Scrolls VI logo.
