Following a lengthy Twitch stream from Bethesda, the newest entry in the Fallout series has been revealed.

It’s called Fallout 76, and we’ve got a quick 90 second video to accompany the announcement. It doesn’t reveal much, but it’s certainly something to get salivating over.

It’s been three years since Fallout 4 debuted, so it’s about time for an entirely new adventure to embark on. Early buzz surrounding the Bethesda stream that went live after a teaser image posted on Twitter had folks thinking a new sequel, perhaps Fallout 5, might be announced. People also figured on a Fallout 4 Switch port that could potentially be in the works. Fallout 76 certainly came out of left field with all that in mind.

At least this time around, we don’t have to wait eight years between entries, which is great news. As far as what kind of game Fallout 76 will end up being, we don’t really know at this point. We’re also not sure of when or where it will fit into the Fallout universe.

Bethesda has announced that we’ll be able to learn more about Fallout 76—and a bunch of other titles, too—during this year’s Bethesda E3 Showcase. Tune in on Sunday, June 10 at 6:30pm PT for more info as it comes out. Keep your eyes peeled too, as Bethesda may very well decide to start up another stream or make an additional surprise announcement in the days leading up to E3. You can never be sure.
