The Elder Scrolls Online is due out for consoles in June and some fans on PC are wondering if they will be able to transfer their data to the home console version or if they will be limited to the PC version. It seems that Bethesda has confirmed the console transfer and what it will entail.

“The PC/Mac to console transfer includes a digital copy of #ESO for the console you select when purchasing the transfer.”

So for $20 fans can purchase the console version if they already own the PC/Mac version. Of course, this comes with a catch. It is only available to those who activated their PC ESO account before June 30th, 2014. Which the Elder Scrolls Online Twitter clarified.

“The PC-to-console transfer is available for both US and EU, so long as you activated your PC account before June 30, 2014.”

In related news, we previously reported that not only has The Elder Scrolls Online gone up on PSN for pre-order but it will also be having a free-weekend later this month for PC users who haven’t picked it up, but participated in the beta.

The Elder Scrolls Online is set to release on PlayStation 4 & Xbox One, June 9th.
