Microsoft said more id Software and Bethesda games would come to PC Game Pass and the Microsoft Store during the QuakeCon event. Bethesda classics and id Software titles, such as certain Elder Scrolls spin-offs and shooters like Wolfenstein 3D, are now available to PC Game Pass subscribers. Additionally, Bethesda is giving away specific older PC titles through the Microsoft Store.

PC Game Pass Members Gets More Bethesda Titles

Several Bethesda classics and id Softworks titles will be available to PC Game Pass users. These games include The Elder Scrolls: Redguard and The Elder Scrolls Legends: Battlespire, Quake 4, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Wolfenstein 3D. Additionally, if you are a Game Pass Ultimate member, you can unlock every fighter in Quake Champions as part of the perk.

If you don’t remember, Microsoft bought Bethesda after getting regulatory approval for the billion-dollar acquisition last year. That’s why Microsoft can continue to fill Game Pass with classic Bethesda games.

The first and second games in the series, The Elder Scrolls: Arena and The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall, will be available for free download and play on PC through the Microsoft Store. Nonetheless, it is unclear if this doesn’t appear to apply to the Xbox App Store on PC.

Bethesda and id Software games that will be added to PC Game Pass are as follows:

  • Wolfenstein 3D
  • Return to Castle Wolfenstein
  • Quake 4
  • An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire
  • The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard
  • Quake Champions characters

PC Game Pass is not required to play Quake Champions. However, Ultimate members can access a perk that instantly unlocks all of the game’s Champion characters.

On the other hand, there are currently QuakeCon-themed sales running on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Bethesda’s website. Some notable non-Game Pass titles are available with up to 60% off. The sales are available through Monday, August 22.

PC Game Pass subscription costs $10 each month, and you can test the service for one month for $1. You can download and install games through the Xbox app for Windows.
