Yesterday the official Fallout Twitter account teased us with a “Please stand by” image, which was then followed up by an unexpected live stream showing the same image along with a Fallout Vault Boy bobblehead. After a sleepless night for many fans, Bethesda released a teaser trailer for a new title, Fallout 76.

“When the fighting has stopped, and the fallout has settled…”

While further specifics will not be revealed until the Bethesda showcase at E3 on June 10th, careful observers gleaned several nuggets of information from the trailer. Obviously the vault in question is 76, which was meant to open 20 years after the bombs fell, the location may be West Virginia, and it’s time to rebuild things after the fallout of the nuclear war has passed.

Kotaku has also reported that the game may be an online game of some sort. More information will be revealed on June 10th, but until then, we do know that Fallout 76 is being developed by the Bethesda Game Studios main office in Maryland and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

When the fighting has stopped, and the fallout has settled, you must rebuild.
