Squid Ink Cookie is an Epic Magic Cookie who tends to be mistaken for a treasure-eating sea monster. But in reality, they’re an innocent Cookie who hasn’t done particularly bad deeds. They spend a lot of time crying black tears, adding to their antagonist-like appearance. In battle, Squid Ink Cookie naturally slots into the middle of the team, with a decent DMG-to-cooldown ratio that makes them a viable DPS unit.
Squid Ink Cookie Skill and Gameplay
Ink Tentacle Slap: Where did Squid Ink Cookie go? And what is this giant squid doing here?! The monster is about to make anyone flat as a Cookie with a series of rapid slaps dealing area DMG.
Squid Ink Cookie is one of the earlier Cookies to come out in the game, so their kit reflects a straightforward, multi-hit DMG dealer. While their initial DMG multiplier is low at 35 percent, this number adds up as they slap enemies seven times, totaling a base multiplier of 245 percent.
Skill specs:
- Cooldown: 16 secondsSingle hit DMG (seven times): 35 percent (+0.4 to 0.5 percent DMG per level)
Best Squid Ink Cookie Build
As a pure DMG dealer, Squid Ink Cookie is best built with a full Searing Raspberry set. This will amplify their ATK stat and, in turn, boost their overall DMG output. It’s recommended to aim for both ATK and cooldown reduction bonus stats to reduce Squid Ink’s Skill downtime.
For Treasures, opt for the Squishy Jelly Watch for cooldown reduction, as well as the ATK-boosting Old Pilgrim’s Scroll. If Squid Ink is your highest-ATK Cookie, the Bear Jelly’s Lollipop can be a viable option to further boost their DMG as well.
