Battlefield 2042 Beta may not be the best optimized beta of any game. The game runs smoothly on the latest generation console and PC that meet minimum system requirements. However, you will encounter sudden frame drops and stuttering on PS4, Xbox, and even mid-range PCs.

The following game settings may help improve Battlefield 2042 performance on your device and let you enjoy the Beta. That being said, don’t expect these settings to overhaul the game completely.

EA and Dice did say that Battlefield 2042 Beta build is a few months old, and much progress has been made since. Hopefully, the game’s performance improves substantially on its launch.
