Rabbits are found just about everywhere in New World with over 15 different varieties scattered across the map. The map below shows the best area to hunt Rabbits for players looking to capitalize on them for skinning.
Players looking to hunt this tiny game will find the greatest concentration of Rabbits in Windsward’s Noblereach, which is northeast of Windsward Hamlet. This area contains:

Each Rabbit slain earns players 5 experience points and 27 Skinning XP when skinned. They can drop:
- Game MeatRawhideSumtuous RabbitRabbit’s Foot
Once players reach level 25 in Tracking and Skinning they will unlock the ability to track small prey, making finding and hunting Rabbits a lot easier. Once unlocked, a small rabbit icon will appear on the compass at the top of the screen whenever there is a Rabbit nearby.
While Noblereach may have the greatest concentration of Rabbits in Aeternum, there is no shortage of the cottontail critters in the world. In fact, players will find them hopping along in most places they explore, making them one of the most prolific game animals to hunt in New World.
