Dead by Daylight: Forged in Fog introduces the Knight to the killer roster, along with a new map and survivor. The Knight has very interesting abilities that can pair with several Perks to make them a deadly killer. The Knight brings three guards to the hunt and can summon one using the Guardia Compagnia ability and create a path for them to chase survivors.
Each guard has its own abilities and can be boosted by certain perks. When playing The Knight, a good strategy is to choose perks that can affect generators, pallets, or survivor effects while chasing. The Knight excels at area control and cutting off survivor loops, so a good amount of perks work well for builds.
The Knight Perks
The Knight has three perks that can be very powerful to build around. Players should choose The Knight perk that most suits their playstyle, but one, in particular, can help the killer find the survivors very quickly.
All The Knight perks can be deadly with the right build, but Hex: Face the Darkness is one that many Dead by Daylight players can build around easily. The biggest downside is that if your Totem is cleansed, the perk deactivates, so if you want to stick to safe options, the other two are still very effective for tracking survivors.
Best Perks with Hex: Face The Darkness
The best perks to pair with Hex: Face the Darkness will boost your basic attack, which is great for first hits on healthy survivors, which will activate the Hex. Using Hex: Undying will put some insurance on your Hex: Face the Darkness, as it will give you a second chance to use it and can reveal dull Totems with survivors near them. Sloppy Butcher, Thanatophobia, and Hysteria focus on applying very difficult status effects and can pair well with Hex: Face the Darkness while finding other survivors after getting your first hit.
