In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Natures will have an effect on a Pokémon’s stats. One stat will be raised by 10%, while another will be lowered by 10%. This may not seem like a big change, but increasing a Pokémon’s strongest stat and lowering its weakest stat can make the Pokémon perform much better in battle and can set it apart from others. All Pokémon will have a Nature by default, which can be found in the Pokémon’s summary screen.

Swinub, Piloswine, and Mamoswine are Ice and Ground-type Pokémon. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, these Pokémon have a high attack stat. This gives them an advantage over their opponents in battle, and with access to strong physical moves like High Horsepower and Icicle Crash, they can do massive amounts of damage.

How to choose the best Nature

With such a high attack stat, these Pokémon should be paired with a Nature that increases that stat. Brave and Naughty will both increase the Pokémon’s attack while lowering other, less important stats. Players choosing one of these Natures should be sure to avoid special attacks, as only physical attacks will be boosted by Brave and Naughty.

A Pokémon’s best Nature will ultimately come down to the player using it. While it is a good idea to increase a Pokémon’s best stat with its Nature, players should go with a Nature that compliments their playstyle the best.
