Pokémon Legends: Arceus offers a wide variety of options for players looking to optimize their teams for battle. Natures impact stat values of all Pokémon, even legendary creatures like the powerful Giratina in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Here are the natures you’ll want to capitalize on when using this Ghost/Dragon type in battle.
Because Giratina has such a strong stat pool, its options are far more open than many other creatures in the game. What Giratina you build honestly depends on your preference. Here are several natures to help you boost your effectiveness, organized by the two most viable options in our experience.
Offensive Natures
Those aiming for a more offensive legendary can gear their Giratina with an offensive set of natures. both of the options below are excellent.
- Modest: Special Attack (+), Attack (-)Adamant: Attack (+), Special Attack (-)
Both Special Attack and Physical Attack are excellent options for Giratina, just make sure to use moves of the type that Giratana’s stats haven’t been lowered in. You don’t want to use Special Attacks with an Adamant Nature or Physical Attacks with a Modest Nature.
Defensive Natures
If you’re interested in a defensive bastion, the following Natures are great for those aiming to outlast their opponents. With Giratina’s massive healthpool, you should be able to tank several attacks with any of these options in play.
- Bold: Defense (+), Attack (-)Impish: Defense (+), Special Attack (-)Calm: Special Defense (+), Attack (-)Careful: Special Defense (+), Special Attack (-)
As mentioned above, make sure to keep track of which attack stat is lowered when confirming a Defensive Giratina’s Nature. We recommend the Modest Nature for Giratina, who becomes a force of nature when paired with a boosted Special Attack.
