How to choose the best Nature
You can choose either the Timid or Modest natures as the best for Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar. It comes down to whether you prefer the ghost and poison-type Pokémon to be faster or stronger. This should determine which of the two natures you choose.
The Modest nature will increase Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar’s Special Attack and allow it to hit harder. The Timid nature increases their Speed, allowing them to outpace more Pokémon and get the first hit. Both detract from Attack, which isn’t a stat they need. If we had to choose, we would go with the Timid nature for more Speed.
