Nature is an important aspect of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Nature can be used to maximize a Pokémon’s efficiency in battle, as it affects two of a Pokémon’s stats (attack, defense, special attack, special defense, or speed). A Pokémon’s Nature should complement its stats in a way that increases its strengths and minimizes its weaknesses.

Cresselia, the “Lunar” Pokémon, is a legendary Psychic-type Pokémon. Cresselia is a heavy-defense Pokémon with an outstanding special defense and defense stat. To be used most effectively in battle, it is a good idea that Cresselia has a Nature that compliments these defensive capabilities.

How to choose the best Nature

With Cressalia’s best stat being its special defense, it is smart to pair it with a Nature that compliments that stat. Calm is a great choice for players that don’t focus too heavily on physical attacks while in battle. Careful is the better choice for players that do use physical attacks, and prefer to lean away from special attacks in battle. Cresselia has a good split of strong physical and special attacks, so players can decide from that point which Nature is best for them.

These two Natures compliment Cresselia differently, but ultimately the best Nature comes down to how players decide to use the Pokémon in battle. If players lean more towards physical attacks, it is better to stick with Cresselia’s Careful Nature.
