A Pokémon’s Nature is an important aspect of its performance in battle. It has minor effects on the Pokémon’s stats but can be the thing that sets a player’s Pokémon apart from the rest. A Pokémon’s Nature will increase one stat by 10% and lower another by 10%. The Pokémon will have a Nature when caught, which can be found on the Pokémon’s summary screen.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Cherubi, and Cherrim are Grass-type Pokémon with a pretty respectable special attack stat. They can be easy to overlook, but these Pokémon can really pack a punch in battle with special attacks like Petal Dance and Energy Ball.

How to choose the best Nature

Because Cherubi and Cherrim have a high special attack stat, it is best to find a Nature that works alongside that advantage. Modest will increase the Pokémon’s special attack capability at the cost of a physical attack. This shouldn’t be an issue so long as players remember to steer away from physical attacks in battle in order to utilize these Pokémon best. Mild Nature is also a great option as it will raise the special attack stat while lowering the defense stat, which is not the best for these Pokémon anyways.

Which Nature is the best to use will ultimately come down to playstyle and how players use their Pokémon in battle. If players don’t rely heavily on special attacks, then it is best to go with a different Nature for these Pokémon.
