The legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Go are powerful. They’re capable of tipping the scales of a battle in your favor, especially if you use them properly. When you capture Incarnate Forme Landorus, you’ll find that it’s a worthwhile choice to use in the Master League competition. But you need to optimize its overall strength, and give it the best moveset it can learn.

Incarnate Forme Landorus is a Flying and Ground-type Pokémon. It’s only weak to Ice and Water-type moves, but it’s resistant to Bug, Electric, Fighting, Ground, and Poison-type moves. In PvP, the Incarnate Forme Landorus has a maximum CP of 3,588, an attack of 218, a defense of 155, and a stamina of 173. For PvE, it has an attack of 261, a defense of 182, and a stamina of 205. An opponent facing Landorus doesn’t have too many options, making it pretty easy to protect it from any Ice or Water-type Pokémon.

These are all of the moves Incarnate Forme Landorus can learn.

Fast moves

  • Mud Shot (Ground-type) – 3 damage and 4.5 energy (1.5 damage per turn)Rock Throw (Rock-type) – 8 damage and 2.5 energy (4 damage per turn)

Charged moves

  • Earth Power (Ground-type) – 90 damage and 55 energy (10% chance to lower opponent’s defenses by one rank)Focus Blast (Fighting-type) – 140 damage and 75 energyOutrage (Dragon-type) – 110 damage and 60 energyRock Slide (Rock-type) – 75 damage and 45 energy

Because of Landorus’ limited moveset, it doesn’t have too many choices. However, the choices it does have for attacks are excellent. It’s capable of toppling plenty of Pokémon, consistently coming out on top. For its fast move, you want to go with mud shot. It does less damage than rock throw, but it can generate far more energy, allowing it to use its charged moves far more often.

For your charged moves, your first and top pick will almost always be earth power. It’s a low-energy move that can do quite a bit of damage against an opponent. Plus, the chance to lower your opponent’s defenses for the rest of the battle is the icing on the cake. When it comes to Landorus’ second charged move choice, we recommend rock slide. It’s also a low-energy attack, and it does quite a bit of damage, even if it only needs 45 energy.

For players to consider is to swap rock slide out for focus blast or outrage, depending on how you want to use Landorus in the Master League. If you’re reasonably confident that you can bait or destroy all of your opponent’s shields before you bring out Landorus, these stronger moves can be useful. Normally, you want to use lower energy moves to remove an opponent’s shields, but if your curated team can eliminate shields, these more powerful moves become viable. However, we recommend rock slide over those two options for anyone not confident in doing that.

Overall, what is the best moveset for Incarnate Forme Landorus to learn? We highly recommend you use mud shot for its fast move, and then for its charged moves, you want to go with earth power and rock slide.
