Kleavor is a new Regional evolution of the Scyther evolution line. It will evolve from the Bug-type Pokémon Scyther (using Black Augurite). Kleavor is a Bug and Rock-type Pokémon with proficiency for physical attacks.
Since Kleavor is a Rock and Bug-type Pokémon, most of its powerful moves will share this typing. This means that the move will benefit from S.T.A.B. (Same Type Attack Bonus) dealing extra damage to opponents in battle.
Kleavor will be able to use Close Combat at level 43 (mastering the move at level 54), X-Scissor at level 34 (mastering the move at level 45), Air Slash at level 18 (mastering the move at level 28), and Stone Axe at level 29 (mastering the move at level 40).
How to use Kleavor best in battle
Kleavor is a Bug and Rock-type Pokémon, so players wanting to use it most effectively will need to know how it competes with other typings.
Bug-type Pokémon will take increased damage from Fire, Rock, and Flying-type moves. Bug-type attacks will be super effective against Grass, Dark, and Psychic-type Pokémon.
Rock-type Pokémon will take increased damage from Water, Ground, Grass, Fighting, and Steel-type moves. Rock-type attacks are super effective against Ice, Fire, Flying, and Bug-type Pokémon.
