Bastiodon is a Steel and Rock-type Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It will evolve from Shieldon upon reaching level 30. This Pokémon doesn’t have very good attack stats, but its defense makes it a real powerhouse in battle.

Because Bastiodon is a Rock and Steel-type Pokémon, most of its most powerful moves will also be Rock and Steel-type. This is because of the S.T.A.B. (Same Type Attack Bonus) which will give bonus damage to moves that match a Pokémon’s typing. Bastiodon’s best moves are Double-Edge, Earth Power, Iron Head, and Rock Slide.

Bastiodon will learn Double-Edge at level 47 (masters at level 59), Earth Power at level 29 (masters at level 40), Iron Head at level 21 (masters at level 31), and Rock Slide at level 15 (masters at level 25).

How to use Bastiodon best in battle

Bastiodon is a Steel and Rock-type Pokémon. Players should keep in mind this Pokémon’s weaknesses and resistances when using it in battle.

Steel-type Pokémon are vulnerable to Fire, Ground, and Fighting-type attacks. Steel-type attacks will be super effective against Ice, Rock, and Fairy-type Pokémon.

Rock-type Pokémon will take increased damage from Grass, Ground, Water, Steel, and Fighting-type moves. Rock-type attacks will be super effective against Flying, Fire, Ice, and Bug-type Pokémon.
