Dragon Age has always been pro-mod, as demonstrated by the first game’s release with the Dragon Age Toolkit. This stance has continued to benefit BioWare’s most recent game, Dragon Age: Inquisition.
If you want to play the game now, you should install mods because they make it play as if it were released today and improve the experience.
SK Hair Pack
At the time, Dragon Age: Inquisition had one of the most extensive character creations. It’s still good today, but it could have been better.
Even if nothing else, this mod allows players to experiment with hairstyles. It is surprising how many players are drawn to creating a unique Inquisitor with a distinctive hairstyle. This adds to the enjoyment of character customization.

Quicker Looting
The looting in Inquisition becomes tedious after a while. You have to press the joystick every two seconds and then wait for the character to pick up what you found. Having to do this too often ruins the immersion.
Dragon Age: Inquisition’sInquisition’s Quicker Looting mod eliminates this problem entirely. It’s oe of the best Dragon Age: Inquisition mods due to the massive impact it has on the immersion and quality of life.

War Table - No Waiting
On paper, waiting for things to complete on the War Table made sense. Inquisition has so much to do that simply sending out troops leaves the players with more time to handle larger priorities. Although, this doesn’t really make sense. Why would you make players wait when they just want to get things done? Having to wait is never fun, which is why this mod is so useful.
Multiple war table missions take different times for characters to complete and vary based on which character you select. The War Table - No Waiting mod allows players to complete all the missions immediately.

More Inquisition Levels
Game developers need to stop making us choose between this or that when leveling—I want it all! There are 34 perks, but you can only level up the Inquisition to 20. Let us save you time: you won’t be able to get everything.
Although each perk differs in what it offers, they all improve gameplay in some way, shape, or form. The inventory size can be increased, waiting times can be reduced, schematics can be added, etc. The mod fixes that mistake and lets the inquisition level reach 30, the level needed to unlock all 34 perks.

More Banter
In Dragon Age: Inquisition, your party members will chat with each other while traveling through the Hub Worlds. In some cases, it comes from what you find; in others, it is just idle talk. Regardless, it always adds depth to each character.
There wasn’t enough of it in the game, and this mod fixes that. Every 10 to 15 minutes, a randomizer will decide whether or not the party members should banter.

Blackwall - Warden Of The North
If you wonder why Blackwall would hide such a beautiful chin and jaw under that exaggerated beard, you are not alone. Remove the beard, and he is quite handsome. Several players care about his looks as a love interest, and so this mod was created.
This one is more of a bonus, but it does help the game a lot. Blackwall’s hairstyle can also be changed and remove his beard for a more fresh-faced appearance. You can even have him sport a mohawk.
Mod: Blackwall - Warden of the North
In our opinion, these are the best and will keep the player engaged with the game. Other mods can make the game easier or change the developers’ intentions. If you follow this list, you will love the game without feeling like you are ruining or cheating the intended experience.
