If you are looking for the best boot enchantments in Minecraft, we recommend first starting with feather falling. Feather falling is a special enchantment unique only to boots that will allow you to take a reduction of fall damage when falling.

The enchantment’s bonus to fall damage reduction will also increase with each variant of the enchantment. If you also have enchantments such as protection, fire, blast, and projectile protection, it will also add to the total fall damage reduction you can get.

Because of all that, feather falling gets a spot in this guide as one of the best go-to enchantments for boots. Moving on, another enchantment we would recommend getting is depth strider.

Depth strider is a unique enchantment that allows players to move faster underwater, which can be useful when looking for clay or other underwater items. You can also combine it with a respiration helmet to become practically a fish in Minecraft.

Moving on, you can also use soul speed and frost walker but both are argueablly less useful than the other two enchantments in this guide. The reason why is that you won’t find yourself walking on frosted ice, which frost walker makes it easier and faster to transverse, and the same goes for soul walker.

Soul walker makes it, so players are able to walk faster on soul sand and soil, so overall, both enchantments are not as helpful but could be good in certain circumstances.

Beyond these boot enchantments, the following enchantments below are always a nice addition but are by no means the best or required for the boot but are still huge and welcome additions.

Mending

Mending is a useful enchantment that will allow you to use orbs of experience to repair your item. Overall, we highly recommend adding it to any tool or item you have, as it it’s just really useful, even more so when combined with unbreaking.

Unbreaking

Unbreaking is a wondrous enchantment for any item, as it increases durability and will help you keep using whatever item it’s on. For that reason, it’s always worth considering throwing it on any weapon or item you plan on using a lot.
