Best Minecraft 1.19 Desert Seeds

Desert Reef

Seed: -3373198683487676029

Although the placement is different in each version, this seed has the same exciting features in both Java and Bedrock! You spawn on a desert that encompasses a Coral Reef ocean. Littered around the rim of the massive Coral Reef are several villages that have the perfect view of the Reef and easy access to several Desert Temples and spoils therein!

The Desert Adventure

Seed: 6000222

Both the Java and Bedrock versions of this seed spawn you on the opposite end of an arid desert containing a Stronghold. Although the strongholds spawn in different locations, this large desert biome is perfect for players who want to have a complete Minecraft adventure without stepping foot off sand or mesa blocks. Each version has its own special features at spawn that make it fun!

Ancient Desert City

Seed: 6000015

When you spawn in this world, you have instant access to the two most underappreciated biomes: Deserts and Badlands. While they may have an arid atmosphere, this seed proves that they have some of the most beautiful scenic landscapes you can find in the game. This desert spans over 2,000 blocks tall and and almost 9,000 blocks wide! There are ample Desert Temples and Desert Villages near spawn. When you’re ready, make a 3,000 block long trek to some Wooded Badlands to find a cluster of Ancient Cities!

Desert Rivers

Seed: 6245064415419240492

This is the perfect seed to start the Minecraft 1.19 Wilds Update, especially if you are fond of deserts. You start the world in a 10,000 block wide arid climate mixture of Badlands and Desert biomes. A couple hundred blocks away from spawn Mangrove Swamp biome, which is one of the biomes added in The Wilds update. What really sells this seed is the sheer number of Desert Temples and Villages near the spawn (or Outposts, if you’re on Java). Within 1,000 blocks of spawn, you’ll find at least five Temples and seven Villages, with dozens more within the first 5,000 blocks.

The Desert Starter Seed

Seed: 45543

If you look closely at the image above, you’ll see most what this seed offers as soon as you start the game. In it, you can see the spawn point (near the ocean on the top edge), two Desert Villages (including one that has generated on a Desert hill), two Desert Temples (one being mostly hidden underground), and a jaw-dropping multi-tiered mud-covered windswept savannah tower. There is also a large Mangrove swamp in the middle of the Desert, and most importantly: a Stronghold only 400 blocks from spawn!

Big Desert, Little Mangrove

Seed: 1125899970844347

You spawn next to several large lakes in an enormous desert in this seed. The desert is 3,000 blocks tall an and 5,000 blocks wide, making it one of the biggest deserts we’ve seen. It stretches so far that the desert in which you spawn also contains two Strongholds! The desert contains many other structures, and you’ll find almost every other overworld structure and a sizeable Mangrove Swamp within a couple thousand blocks from spawn!

Clusters of Structures

Seed: 2814749802107550

Most of our desert seeds rarely make it to the running of our best seeds, but this 1.19 Desert seeds sets itself far ahead of the others. It works as not only a desert seed, but as a great seed for speedruns and hardcore games. You start on the edge of a Desert and next to a Jungle. Whatever direction you walk, you will find clusters of different structures within a couple thousand blocks. This also means that there almost every biome is available to you within the same distance. You will find biomes with all the climates (cold, hot, wet, and dry) and structures that fit in each one (Igloos, Villages, Temples, Monuments, Ancient Cities, and more). The only structure that doesn’t have a cluster is the Woodland Mansion, but there are still at least of them within 5,000 blocks!

Floating Desert Islands

Seed: 3437382675851646460

Bedrock Seed: -7937693632417136982

Desert Islands except in the sky! Miles of mesas! These are some deserted barren wastelands, perfect for a seemingly post-apocalyptic style of play. What’s more, there’s plenty of village locations close so you’re not just stranded with no help. And digging down of course reveals more exciting features and materials.
