Call of Duty: Vanguard has several weapon classes that players can select from. Although the Assault Rifles (AR) overshadow Light Machine Guns (LMG) in some cases, the latter can be customized to perform better than the ARs. Here’s a guide on how to build the best MG42 loadout in Vanguard.

Best MG42 Loadout Vanguard

The best MG42 attachments for a high-accuracy and improved-mobility build are as follows:

  • Muzzle - Mercury SilencerBarrel - Krausnick 450mm B42MGOptic - MK.8 ReflectorUnderbarrel - SMLE Pistol GripMagazine - 8mm Klauser 50 Round Fast MagsAmmo Type - IncendiaryRear Grip - Fabric GripProficiency - SteadyKit - Fully Loaded

Mercury Silencer helps with recoil control and sound suppression of the MG42 LMG. On the other hand, the SMLE Grip improves sprint-to-fire time while slightly reducing the accuracy. You can swap it with the Mark VI Skeletal for better aim-down-sight (ADS) speed.

The Klauser Fast magazine has less ammo and is faster to reload. For the Ammo Type, either Incendiary or FMJ Rounds can be equipped for best performance. Fabric Grip is the most crucial attachment, as it boosts the mobility of MG42 considerably.

The proficiency, kit, and optic attachments are subjective, so you can change them to your preference. Furthermore, we have not kitted any stock to the MG42 build. That’s because the cons associated with every stock available impact accuracy and mobility by a lot. However, if you want better mobility at the cost of control and accuracy, equip the Removed Stock. It tightens the hip fire spread and boosts the movement speed of the weapon.
