Arriving within the Season of Heritage winter event in Pokemon Go!, Druddigon is a dragon-type Pokemon. As a recent addition, every player hasn’t encountered him yet. Luckily, much like any Pokemon, Druddigon has several elements they are weak to and certain Pokemon that best counter them.

Druddigon’s Weaknesses and Resistances

As just a pure dragon-type Pokemon, Druddigon has three types he is weak to and four types he is resistant to. The types he is weak to will deal 160% of the standard damage, whereas types that he is resistant to will only deal 63% of their normal amount.

Top Counter Pokemon against Druddigon

Based on Druddigon’s weaknesses, players should choose Pokemon that deal mainly dragon, fairy, or ice damage. If players don’t have any of the following counters, they should pick from their current arsenal based on type. Fairy is resistant to and strong against dragon-type, making it the best type to pick. Ice is a secondarily good option as they are strong against dragon types but not resistant or weak to them. Lastly, dragon types are actually the worst choice as they are strong against and weak to other dragon-type Pokemon.
