To unlock new abilities for your dragon riding talent tree, you’ll have to collect Glyphs that are scattered throughout the world. Your first instinct might be to collect them all, but that might not actually be the best way to do it.
You’ll come across some of the more important talents early on in your dragon riding career. After you unlock the first row of abilities, you’ll be able to access the second row, which branches off into 3 different choices.
- The first Talent you unlock is called Take to the Skies.
- Take to the Skies will increase your Vigor to 4 and allow you and your dragon to stay in the air for longer periods of time.
- Costs 1 Glyph
- The second Talent will be a choice between 3 of them, Dynamic Stretching.
- Dynamic Stretching will allow your Vigor to regenerate by 1 every 25 seconds while you are on the ground
- Costs 3 Glyphs
- The third Talent that you unlock should be Thrill Chaser.
- Thrill Chaser will allow you to regenerate 1 Vigor every 10 seconds, allowing you to gain height and speed more often while in the air.

- Redirection increases Surge Forward’s effectiveness to 125% while you are traveling at slower speeds.
