Last year, Below Deck’s pregnant Kate Chastain began her journey to motherhood. Despite being a first-timer, she feels grateful for the experience so far. On December 13, Below Deck’s Kate Chastain let the cat out of the bag! She posed in a floral-designed dress with her tiny baby bump in view.
Letting the picture speak a thousand words, the actress only laced the caption with hopes for the future. In reference to her child, she wrote:
A few hours later, she made her first TV appearance with the bump on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.” There, a pregnant Kate Chastain noted that her due date as May 8, 2023. Though she was familiar with the baby’s gender, the reality star preferred to remain mute on the subject.
Cohen also discovered that his guest had almost everything figured out—especially the baby’s name, which had significance within her family. Less than a month after Below Deck’s Kate Chastain indicated plans of one-man parenting, or in this case, one-woman parenting, she visited Cohen again.

Below Deck‘s Kate Chastain stopped by Monday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” to share her gratitude for becoming a mom.
Without a hint of denial in her voice, the 39-year-old who claimed she yearned to have kids, revealed:
Surprisingly, she has also been blessed with a seamless pregnancy experience, free from normal troubles including morning sickness. Before leaving the studio, the talk show host chimed in words of support, assuring Chastain that she would do great as a parent.
Her former co-star, Captain Lee Rosbach from Below Deck shares the same sentiments as Cohen. Last year, he mentioned that she will rock at motherhood. Fans have been left with no Instagram baby bump post. Though the actress alleged being overjoyed in this new phase, she is savoring every moment internally as she prepared to parent alone.
