With Halo Infinite right around the corner, 343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios aren’t through with the marketing. In a new live-action trailer entitled “Carry On,” the hype train continues to roll with Master Chief in combat and an interactive helmet project.

Transform into the Master Chief in “Carry On”

Set within an explosive battlefield, Master Chief swings and dodges his way through enemies. Going up against a force of Banished soldiers, the Master Chief only has a few abilities at his disposal. Aside from the expected weapons, Chief is also utilizing some of the new equipment that we’ve seen in previous footage and gameplay. From sticky spike grenades and rolling after jumping high in the air, the carnage ultimately reaches a halt when a more powerful Banished kicks the Chief a yards away. It’s not until he uses the new grapple shot to snatch the Banished soldier’s gravity hammer away from the enemy. The trailer ends with a slow-motion Rocky/Apollo Creed punch before concluding with the word, “Become.”

In addition to the “Carry On” new trailer, the footage ends with a link to a helmet activity. This actually allows any user to snap a picture of themselves with their webcam to be put inside Master Chief’s iconic helmet. The interactive activity encourages you to become the Master Chief, to join him in his fight against the Banished.

All you need to do is select your age group, connect your webcam, and the program will then begin scanning. What it will do is essentially stamp your face onto the Chief’s with visor mechanics. I made one right here if you want to see how it comes out. The process only takes a couple of minutes or less to complete.
