Who is ready for more Legosi and Haru? Beastars season two has officially dropped on Netflix with 12 new episodes. In this second season, Legosi grows stronger while attempting to solve the gruesome murders happening around campus.
At the end of season one, Legosi the Wolf admitted his feelings for Haru the Rabbit after saving her from a black market ring designed to feed predators. Beastars season two will pick up where it left off. As of this writing, there is no word on whether or not the anime will receive a third season from Studio Orange. But there is a high possibility of it returning based on the popularity of the series.
Beastars season two debuted earlier this year in Japan during the month of January. They waited several months before releasing the new season internationally on Netflix.
For those unfamiliar with Beastars, the anime follows a group of anthropomorphic creatures attending high school. A horrific murder makes the line between predator and prey more apparent, and the main character Legosi has more to lose than anyone. The official synopsis is as follows, “In a world where beats of all kinds coexist, a gentle wolf awakens to his own predatory urges as his school deals with a murdered within its midst.”
The first and second season of Beastars is available on Netflix now! Season one has 12 episodes, as does Beastars season two. There are also 22 issues of the manga, and the series is now complete. However, creator Paru Itagaki’s spin-off series, Beast Complex, is making a comeback now that Beastars is complete.
