Many of her fans also planned to boycott the show until the host, Julie, waded into the controversy. Some houseguests eventually apologized to Taylor, admitting that they were wrong for how they treated her.

It is saddening that racism is still an issue in the 21st century. Hopefully, the reality show organizers put in place mechanisms that will prevent such situations in subsequent series so that future contestants don’t have to pull off their emails.
