Big Brother 24 winner Taylor Hale recently revealed why she pulled off her email from public view. A fan observed that Taylor Hale’s email disappeared from social media and asked her why. The reality star responded to the observation in a tweet confirming what many suspected was the reason. Find out what she said below.

Taylor Hale Is Big Brother 24 Winner

Taylor made history as the first black winner of the prime summer show. The multi-talented 27-year-old wears many hats as a personal stylist and a professional model. She is also a beauty queen, a social advocate, and a language enthusiast.

However, her journey to winning the grand prize was not easy. Housemates repeatedly bullied the beauty queen. She even made headlines after BB alums and fans spoke against the ill-treatment and racism she faced.

Many of her fans also planned to boycott the show until the host, Julie, waded into the controversy. Some houseguests eventually apologized to Taylor, admitting that they were wrong for how they treated her.

However, while some houseguests reflected on their actions, many fans of the franchise have not. Even after being crowned winner, Taylor is still being hounded.

The model revealed that she deleted her email address to limit the public’s access to her.

Big Brother Racism Controversies

Big Brother 24 winner Taylor’s experience is not unusual, as the franchise has been embroiled in similar racist incidents over the years. Taylor Hale’s email situation is probably louder because she emerged as the winner in the latest season.

“Removed mine because people were emailing me to call me the N word. Next,” the social advocate replied.

In the last season, an all-Black alliance formed to ensure that a Black winner emerged was denounced and criticized. The Cookout was tagged as racist and disparaged until Julie stepped in to address the accusations.

It is saddening that racism is still an issue in the 21st century. Hopefully, the reality show organizers put in place mechanisms that will prevent such situations in subsequent series so that future contestants don’t have to pull off their emails.
