Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and The Lost Demon, a prequel that enraged fans and left the general public in a perpetual state of “meh,” has been announced during the 2022 Game Awards.

The game will present a gameplay quite distant from its predecessors since it will be focused more on adventure rather than combat. Not to mention that it will have a fairytale-like aesthetic.

The story of the Bayonetta prequel remains somewhat unknown. However, there are also indications that we might have some time travel. This would be familiar to the franchise, as its previous installments also used it. It will be interesting to see how it fits into the main story.

Something quite noticeable is that Bayonetta in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and The Lost Demon‘s story is seen as a teenager, a state we have not seen her in. Since we met her as an adult and a little girl in her first installment, what do you think we will meet in this installment?
